Day 1: Abraham to Parnaioca — 18 km
We started our journey by accessing the island by private speedboat only for our group, the adventure begins and ends in the charming Vila de Abraão, the largest community on the entire island. Then, we set off for Parnaioca, passing by Praia de Dois Rios, where we bathed in the sea and river and also visited the ruins and the museum of the old penitentiary that existed there. We followed a stretch of trail where it is possible to appreciate the island's wildest local flora and fauna, and ended with a sunset on
Parnaioca Beach.Day 2: Parnaioca to Araçatiba — 10 km
We woke up before the sun rose and took a boat through a stretch of forbidden passage through a protected reserve area of Praia do Sul, so from Parnaioca we landed at the legendary Aventureiro Beach, where we had breakfast calmly before starting the day's trail, which continues to Proveta, Araçatibinha and ends at Praia Grande de Araçatiba, a charming village known for its calm waters and panoramic views.
Day 3: Araçatiba to Matariz — 18 km
This day, the trail takes us to explore sheltered and paradisiacal beaches. It is the day we spend the most time visiting beaches, Praia da Cachoeira, Lagoa Verde, Praia da Longa, Ubatubinha, Tapera, Sítio Forte, Maguariquessaba and Passatera, to Matariz Beach, a journey full of challenges, but also rewards, with spectacular glimpses of the sea and vegetation.
Day 4: Matariz to Saco do Céu — 12 km
The adventure continues towards Saco do Céu, one of the most serene places on Ilha Grande. On this day, we passed through Bananal, Bananal Pequeno, Praia do Araça, Freguesia de Santana, Praia de Grumixama, Lagoa Azul, Japariz until we arrived at Saco do Céu
.Day 5: Saco do Céu to Abraão — 10 km
On the last day, we walked back to Abraão, completing the trip to Ilha Grande. This final stretch is filled with memories and the satisfaction of having explored one of the most beautiful places in Brazil, but there are still discoveries, such as walking barefoot along the stretch of Perequê and Camiranga beaches, and bathing in Cachoeira da Feiticeira.
